Arrived on site to inspect electrical issues related to the dishwasher and garbage disposal receptacles. Evaluated both receptacles and the associated switch to determine the appropriate diagnostic level. Testing confirmed the dishwasher receptacle was operating correctly with consistent 120V output. Identified the garbage disposal switch as the source of the issue, as it failed to send power to the receptacle when activated. Replaced the defective switch, reconnected the disposal, and verified proper operation through testing. No additional electrical issues were identified at the time of service.
Arrived on site to address a bedroom circuit tripping the arc-fault breaker. Inspection revealed a damaged wire in the ceiling fan housing making contact with the metal casing, resulting in a direct short. Damaged wiring was identified for repair to restore proper circuit operation.
Service call to diagnose yellow and green indicator lights on a 22kW Generac unit. Display showed "Check Battery" code. Battery had been replaced in August 2024. Battery terminals were in acceptable condition; the positive terminal showed minor wear but remained functional. Controller was fully reset, and system test was completed successfully.
Inspection of customer-replaced pole installation was conducted. Visual assessment indicated proper pole installation. Feeder conductors were reported as sound, and conduit replacement was performed. AC circuit extension was required, necessitating installation into an enclosure. Continuity testing was performed to verify system integrity; continuity from meter to weather head was confirmed. Subsequent testing of the trailer electrical panel revealed an unbonded condition. No continuity was observed between hot conductors, nor from individual hot conductors to ground or neutral. Continuity was verified between neutral and ground. System cleared for operation.
